What If You Get Stranded?
We sometimes hear a story about a person or a couple, and the car broke down or they got stranded somewhere, and had to spend the night sleeping under the stars, or wait for help to arrive or to find them. To be in the middle of nowhere is bad enough, and as upsetting as that may be, to be without things such as food, water, a first aid kit, and a few other items like a tent or a sleeping bag, will really make the scenario a miserable one. This is unnecessary, if only the car had a survival kit in the trunk.
People will spend $30,000 or more for a new car and even pay extra for other options, but then why not spend an extra couple of hundred bucks, and make sure that you have an emergency survival kit in the trunk of the car? You never know when you might take a wrong turn, get lost, end up in the middle of nowhere, then the worst happens, and the car breaks down, the cell phone battery is dead, and it’s close to sundown or it’s already after dark.
